The Benson High School English Language Arts Department offers literature, language arts, reading, writing, and speaking classes. English Language Arts is a required subject for all students in grades 6 - 12.

 

Each year students take a full year of English Language Arts classes, whether it's reading, literature, language arts, or speech.

 

All aspects of English Language Arts are incorporated each year following the Minnestate State Standards, with the only exception being the Minnesota State University Public Speaking class which follows the guidelines of the college.
