Jr. High Choir (7th and 8th grade): In Jr. High choir we work on the basic fundamentals of singing within a large group, reading choral music, and building your individual singing voice. This choir performs once a semester.

6th Grade Music: This class extends past the basic foundations of music and we dive into how music is involved in your world everyday. We play many instruments including ukulele, guitar, boomwhackers, and bucket drums. We end the year off with a big 6th Grade Showcase.

Concert Choir: (9th-12th grade): The difficulty of music increases from Jr. High choir to Concert Choir. We tend to sing with more parts and more difficult harmonies. We sing in different languages and a wide range of genres. This choir performs 3 concerts throughout the year and competes in the Large Group contest in March. Being a part of Concert Choir also gives you the opportunity to join the Chamber Singers, a small group that meets once a week and sings less traditional choir pieces. There is also plenty of opportunity for solos at Solo and Ensemble, Jazz n' Stuff, and at concerts.
